Drowned in You

I am thinking of you..
In my sleepless solitude tonight...
If it's wrong to love you,
then my heart just won't let me be right.
'Cause I'm drowned in you,
And I won't pull through,
without you by my side..

One thing in Common..

They didn't agree on much.
In fact, they rarely agreed on everything.
They fought all the time, and they challenged each other everyday.
But despite their differences, they had one important thing in common:
They were crazy about each other

Lost Love

An old couple around the age of 70, went to a lawyer's office,to file a divorce.

The couple had been quarreling all their 40 over years of marriage over nothing and everything. They hang on to the marriage because of their children, afraid that a divorce might upset the children. Now, all their children have grown up and left. There's nothing else for the old couple to worry about. They wanted each to lead their own life, free from all these years of unhappiness from their marriage.

While they were signing the papers, the wife told the husband :
"I actually love you, my dear, but I really can't carry on with our marriage anymore. I'm so sorry.."
"Its ok, I understand.." said the husband.
The lawyer suggested for them to have dinner together, just 3 of them for the last time. The wife agreed since they are still going to be friends after this.

During dinner, there was a moment of awkward silence.
The first dish was roasted chicken. Immediately, the old man took the drumstick and put it on the old lady's plate. "Take this, its your favorite"

Looking at this, the lawyer thought that maybe there's still a chance for reconciliation, but the wife was frowning when she answered:
'This has always been the problem. You always think of yourself and never gave a thought about how I feel. Don't you know that i hate drumsticks?"

Little did she know that, over the years, the husband have been trying very hard to please her. Drumstick was actually the husband's favorite. And all this while he had thought that she too prefers the drumstick. He always save that part for her. Little did he know that she hated drumstick. All he wanted was the best for her.

That night, both of them couldn't sleep. This was the first time that they sleep away from each other. After a few hours, the old man couldn't take it anymore. He knows that he still loves her.She was his first love and he can't carry on without her. He wanted to tell her that he is sorry. He wanted to tell her that he loves her..

He picked up the phone, started dialing her number but there was no answer. He kept on dialing. At the other end, the old lady was sad too. She was thinking that after all these years, he still doesn't understand her at all. She loves him, but felt disappointed. The phone rang but she refuses to answer it, knowing that it would only be him. "What is the point of talking, now that it's over between us. I have asked for a divorce and now i want to keep it this way.' She thought. She pulled the phone's cord from the wall.

The next day, the old lady heard that he had passed away. She rushed down to his apartment, saw his body, lying on the couch still holding on to the phone. He had had a heart attack. A few days later, the old lady went to his belongings. Going through the drawers, she found an insurance policy, dated from the day they got married with her name on it as beneficiary. And together in those file, there was this note...

"To my dearest wife. By the time you're reading this, I'm sure I would no longer be around. I bought this policy for you. Though the amount is only $100k, I hope it would be enough to help me continue the promise that I made when we got married. I might not be around anymore but I want this amount of money to continue taking care of you, just like I would have done if I live longer. I want you to know I will always be around, by your side, forever. I love you"

The Paper Cranes

There was once a guy who was very much in love with a girl.
This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl. Although, at that time he was just a clerk in his company, they were very happy together.

Then, one day, the girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them here, so it would be better for each to go their own ways... heartbroken, the guy agreed.

The guy worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind to forget the girl and make something out of himself. Finally with all these hard work and with the help of friends, this guy managed to set up his own company...

One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking towards some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take him long to realize that those were his ex-girlfriend's parents. He drove the car slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same poor guy anymore. He now had his own company, car, condo, etc. He had made it in life!

The old couple was walking towards the cemetary. The guy got out of his car and followed them. There he saw the couple stop at a grave and there was a photograph of the girl smiling sweetly as ever at him on the tombstone. His precious paper cranes has been put in a bottle and was placed beside her tomb.

Her parents saw him. He walked over slowly and asked them what had happened. They told him that the girl did not leave for France at all. She was sick with cancer. In her heart, she had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want her illness to be an obstacle. Therefore she had decided to leave him.

She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes on her grave. She was hoping that if the day comes when fate brings him to her grave, he can take some of those back with him. The guy wept ...the worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them, knowing you can't have them and will never see them again.

The Ring

A girl was sitting on a chair at the gas station she worked at.

She looked up and saw her boyfriend walked in. They exchanged smiles and he signaled to her that he would be at the back area waiting for her to finish her shift. As he was looking at the snacks, a man walked in and pointed a gun at her. He had been admiring the ring that her boyfriend had given to her as a token of his love.
When the man told her to hand it over, the girl refused. Her boyfriend heard a sound, looked up from where he was standing..just at the moment the man shoot at her. The boyfriend ran to her and called 911. When the ambulance came, he was sobbing uncontrollably beside his girlfriend.

The ambulance man came over and felt for her pulse. Then he stood up and said she was barely alive. Later at the hospital, as he was sitting beside her, he asked her "Why didn't you just give him the ring?"
And she softly replied "Because when you gave it to me, you said it was a symbol of your love for me and I was afraid that if I gave him the ring, I would lose that love." The girl passed away the next morning with the ring still on her finger.

The Last Hug

(A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on a motorcycle)

Girl: Slow down. I'm scared.
Guy: No this is fun.
Girl: No its not. Please, its too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.
(Girl hugs him)
Guy: Can u take my helmet off and put it on? Its bugging me.

In the paper the next day: A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on the motorcycle, but only one survived.
The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him, felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so she would live even though it meant he would die.

From the Start..

When I was six years old I met him in the playground and he came up to me with a daisy, just the one, and knelt on both knees and asked me to marry him. So I pushed him over then ran away. Two days later he came over and asked if he could play cops and robbers with me and from that day on we played everyday.
At 11 on my first day of Secondary school I was so nervous but at lunch time he came to find me, and we sat down and ate lunch together. We did this everyday for an entire year. You were the first person I told about everything, about my crushes, about my lessons and about all the people I hated, and when I was 13 and thought I was the only one who had never been kissed, you offered to show me how, and by the tree in your back garden we shared our first kiss.
At 15 we went to our first proper house party, and I got drunk. Even though I made a fool of myself you were there to help me stand strong. You didn't judge and you didn't make fun.
Over the next year we began to separate, made different friends. I got my first serious boyfriend and you went through quite a few girlfriends. And then it got to May and that meant the prom. Everything had been arranged, I'd been getting my outfit for months and then the day before I found out my boyfriend had cheated on me. The first person I turned to was you. You turned up at my door with a bouquet of roses and a vintage 1950's car.
I laughed that night and I cried that night
We had three glorious years together, when everyday I would smile. Even on the last day, when your mother stood up, in the church in front of your coffin and began reading from your diary:
"I saw you when I was six stood by the bench in a blue checked dress and daisy shoes and I needed to give an other daisy just because.... Because i loved you from that day on"
