As I sit here on the beach
My normal life seems so out of reach.

The waves are hitting the sand
I just wish you were here to hold my hand.

I know you are far away
Here I could never stay.

You are who I am missing
Right now I wish you and I were kissing.

As I sit here putting seashells in a jar
I know when no one else is there for me, you are.

I know in my heart
That I never want us to part.

When everything seems so out of line
