A look at Love..

Sigmund Freud said:
Love is always an overvaluation.
When we love someone, we tend to project our own needs and feelings on to them. We see the object of our love as something larger, more wonderful, more amazing, more worthy of love than they truly are. When love fades, we begin to see that someone in a different light altogether...

On the contrary, when we love someone, we see them as what they truly are. It is this reality that we fall in love with. So, to truly know someone, you must love them first.

I would say:

Love certainly has different textures.
A person's idea of love has a lot to do with what he/she has experienced.
In Freud: Love is blind. You first fall in love with an illusion, put on a pedestal created by your mind
In Auden: Love should begin with friendship. The more you know of a person that you like, the more possibility that you will fall in love with that person.
